We welcome all to join us in supporting our amazing community at Easley Elementary. Here are just a few ways you can contribute, but we also welcome your ideas in how you want to give back. Please email easleypta@gmail.com with any suggestions or concerns. 

Attend PTA Events

Even if you never get involved in other ways, we hope you will join us for our community events. These events are a cornerstone of our efforts to foster a strong and inclusive community. We always try to make them fun and accessible for all, and in recent years have worked keep fundraising separate so that all Easley PTA events are now offered free of charge (and pressure!) to the whole community.  

Volunteer

We have plenty to do, and would love to have your help! Please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form to let us know what you would like to help with and how to contact you.  You are not required to submit the form in order to volunteer, but doing so ensures you will be among the first to know when we're looking for volunteers. Many of our volunteer opportunities are quite popular and fill up so quickly that we never have to put out the call for help via Dr. Hauser’s Weekly Updates or other school-wide communications. Fill out the interest form to ensure you don't miss out! 

Join a Committee

The PTA's work is organized under committees, each of which focuses on a specific area of operations. We have streamlined our committee/volunteer signup process by combing them under a single Volunteer Interest Form. After you tell us which committees are of interest to you, the chairs of those committees will contact you with more information about the different ways to get involved. You are welcome to simply volunteer for occasional activities and events sponsored by the committee, but if you want to do more, most of them have other duties that may be of interest.

Attend meetings

The PTA meets on Mondays once a month at 6:30 pm in Easley’s Media Center and via Google Meet.  The meetings serve to update members on the work we’re doing, provide a forum for discussing school and PTA issues, and are a great way to get to know other members and learn how you can help our cause. We try to keep meetings as short as possible, and Spanish interpretation is also available. You can find a list of meeting dates here . 

Membership

Members receive all official PTA communication via email, making it easier to stay informed about the work we do, and are eligible to vote on budget allocations and other PTA business. Membership for the 2026-27 school year costs $7.50, all of which goes towards the dues ($6.25) and processing fee ($1.25) we pay to our parent organization, NC PTA. Memberships can be purchased online.
